These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of the digital edition of Standards Over Moods by Aristide Abrahams, sold at standardsovermoods.com by LinkMaster LLC, doing business as Smaharba Press (“Smaharba Press,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By buying the book or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase.

2. What you are buying

You are buying a digital copy of Standards Over Moods (the “Book”) in two formats, PDF and EPUB, delivered together from a single purchase. The price is shown on the buy page before you check out.

Paperback and hardcover editions are sold through Amazon, not on this website. Those purchases are governed by Amazon’s terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase.

4. Checkout, payment, and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe through its Managed Payments service. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. For these sales Stripe acts as the merchant of record: Stripe’s own terms also apply to the payment, and Stripe calculates, collects, and remits any sales tax, VAT, or GST that applies where you live. Taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.

Your card statement will show the charge as SMAHARBA PRESS.

5. Delivery

After payment, we email you a personal download link. The link opens a page with both files and stays active for 72 hours. Please download both files and keep them somewhere safe. If your link expires or the email does not arrive, contact info@standardsovermoods.com or use the support page and we will send a new one.

6. Your license

When you buy the Book, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read it. You do not buy the copyright. You may:

You may NOT:

Each copy is personalized: your name and email address are printed in the files as a license notice. This identifies the licensed owner of that copy. All rights in the Book remain with the author.

7. Refunds

If the Book is not for you, email info@standardsovermoods.com within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. No questions asked. Refunds go back to the original payment method. After a refund, your download link is deactivated and your license to the Book ends, so please delete your copies.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, a right that ends once the download begins with your consent. Our 30-day refund is longer than that, and applies regardless of whether you have downloaded the files.

8. PDCAtracker reader offer

Buyers of the Book may receive an offer for an extended free trial of PDCAtracker, a companion app operated by pdcatracker.com. The offer link is single-use and tied to your order. PDCAtracker is a separate service with its own Terms and Privacy Policy. Signing up there is optional, and those terms, including any subscription that begins after the trial, govern your use of it.

9. Community and other links

The Book and this website link to third-party sites, such as our community on Skool and the Amazon listing. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. No professional advice

The Book shares the author’s experience and methods for personal growth. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Stories in the Book are not health claims. You are responsible for how you apply what you read. If you need professional help, please seek it.

11. Disclaimers

The Book and this website are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under the law where you live.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Book or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the Book. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. The Terms in effect when you bought the Book apply to that purchase.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan. If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country or province, and you may bring proceedings there.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Book. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
